the location was acceptable. it was a short walk across the common to the tube and shops
The food service was not good. we ordered vegan gluten free food and were served the wrong items twice. first, it had regular burger buns, then it contained meat. I was disappointed.

the room decor was lovely. breakfast was varied, and the sunday dinner was very good. the location on the edge of the park offers easy access to both the tube station and sightseeing locations..
The room heating did not seem functional. an oil radiator was provided as a solution.

the hotel benefits from a location close to both clapham south underground and clapham common underground. it makes the hotel easy to find and provides straightforward transport links around the area. you do not feel like you're on germany but out in the countryside.

the honesty bar offered a good selection of treats and drinks. breakfast service was efficient. food in the restaurant was also excellent and it ensured a satisfying dining experience at the hotel.

My recent visit had issues. the shower's water pressure was weak and inconsistent. This made showering less than ideal. additionally, i noted peeling wallpaper in the bathroom. this detracted from the otherwise acceptable appearance of the room..

the state of the room was not great. i noticed water damage and broken furniture. there were luggage stickers on surfaces.
